As a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans*, Queer (LGBTQ) affirmative therapist, I have the honor of sitting with people as they navigate the layers of gender, sexuality, culture, and race that shape their everyday experiences.

Over the last 16 years, I’ve worked in the queer community both as a therapist and as an advocate. I’ve witnessed and fought against the oppression and discrimination the community experiences. If you identify outside of heteronormativity, it is invaluable to work with an LGBT friendly therapist who grasps and affirms the breadth of gender and sexual identities.

At Santa Clarita Behavioral Health, our mission is deeply personal. Our founders established this program after experiencing the profound impact that addiction, mental health, and eating disorders had on their own lives. These were experiences shaped by adversity, loss, and, ultimately, healing. From that journey, a powerful purpose emerged: to provide compassionate, accessible, and high-quality behavioral health care to the Santa Clarita Valley and across the state of California. We proudly accept most major insurance plans to help make treatment affordable and within reach for individuals and families in our community.tion
